Yes, well, one does wonder why J carries a riding crop when he can fly and presumably doesn't need to ride a horse. Add the cleaners and a generally threatening sexual demeanour, and it's not surprising that an impressionable young woman like Sarah gets ideas. It's a one shot for a reason, though - I'm not sure I can carry the personality off in an extended story.

Heh. My other idea for the same prompt involved a sweet scene between a heavily pregnant Sarah and a Jareth who does on occaision ride a horse, but I figured my readers would prefer something a touch more titillating.

Hard rock? Goth, yes, but she's from the 80s, back when goth was a little more hard core, a mix of punk and alt-rock. But perhaps we're dealing with semantics, here.

And yeah, people seem content to do 'evilJareth.' Where are the evil Sarah stories, dammit? She has as much right to develop a nasty streak that isn't limited to suicidal tendancies. (That said, I did find a dom Sarah story on another site after writing my story; good set-up - J does offer to be Sarah's 'slave' after all - but poor follow-through).

*shrugs* Anyway, I thougt Sarah was due for some hard core rebellion. Whether that would lead to a full on S&M lifestyle is a matter for the imagination.

I only started recently. I was going to point it out when I'd finished... as an end of school present, perhaps? I do my best to publish on Fridays. Any more frequent than that and I'll get reprimanded by my advisor. For some reason, fanfiction word count does not impress her. Hrmph.

I guess that means you like it. ;)
